Supporting the counsellors of the future

Personal therapy is an essential part of the development of any future counsellor and is key to enabling growth and self-awareness.

Most courses require counsellors in training to complete 40 hours of personal counselling. We understand that the costs of personal therapy, alongside course fees for counsellors in training can be a worry.

We are therefore allocate a small number of our available sessions every month to be able to offer personal therapy to counsellors in training at a discounted and affordable rate of £35 per session (proof of study will be required).

• As a BACP Accredited Service we represent a benchmark of high quality and good value.

• All sessions will take place at our premises in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

• Appointments will be at the same time and day each week.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

• Sessions cost £35.

• Once we have allocated you an appointment you will need to pay for 3 sessions in full within 48 hours to secure the appointment. Without payment we will not be able to hold your appointment and you will go back on our waiting list.

• Should you need to cancel your appointment we ask for a minimum of at least 24 hours notice. If you need to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment we will charge the full session cost.

• Once you have commenced counselling your counsellor will cover ongoing arrangements with you, for example if you are on holiday during your sessions etc.
