bereavement counselling

From February 2025, we will be offering bereavement and grief counselling to help you talk through your experiences of loss and feelings of grief.

You will now be able to talk to a professional and caring counsellor about the person who has died, how their death is affecting you and how you feel you are coping.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve

Grief is unpredictable and impacts everyone differently. It can affect your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and physical health.

You may feel anxious or numb, cry a lot or struggle sleeping, be angry with the world or feel that no one else will understand. You may question if these feelings and behaviours are normal, or if you’ll ever adjust to life without them.

It can be really helpful to share your feelings and talk things through with a compassionate counsellor.

If you would like an informal talk first, then please call Carmel on 07702 415 429.

"You will never get over the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same nor would you want to be."
Elizabeth Kubler Ross and David Kessler
