We’re looking for a new person centred counsellor to join our team
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Counsellor to work as part of our children and young peoples counselling service, commissioned by the NHS.
This provision offers free at the point of access one to one counselling for children and young people aged 12-25. The post holder will be required to deliver one to one (face to face) counselling to clients experiencing a range of mental health difficulties including, emotional distress, depression, anxiety, low self esteem and working with those who self harm and/or have suicidal thoughts/feelings.
We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, empathic, sensitive and experienced counsellor, with a passion for making a difference and someone who is able to work within a team as well as independently.
